What is Ears To You?

ETY is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to lift the spirits of cancer patients by providing a moment of joy and hope.  We provide these smile-inducing moments by donating earrings, hats, headscarves, & books to cancer patients of all ages, with any type of cancer.  Visit www.earstoyou.org to learn more!

When does bidding start?

Friday, March 4th promptly at 6 p.m.. If you have already registered, you can bid as soon as the auction starts. If you haven't registered yet, you can create an account using the button above & entering in your credit card info.

Do I need to buy a ticket to bid?

No-if you are unable to attend, you simply register for the event on the main page by entering in your credit card number and you're all set to start bidding!  

How do I bid?

You can bid on any item with a computer, smartphone, or via text message!

 
You can also have GiveSmart automatically bid for you by selecting the Auto Bid tab. Enter your highest bid amount & we'll increase your bid as needed to keep you winning until your amount is reached! 
 

On Your Phone: Click the blue link in your welcome text message (from when you registered) & it will take you to your personal bidding page. Click on an item you would like to bid on. If you do not have the text message, go to the auction's webpage, log in, and begin bidding! 

Via Text Messages: Text the item number & amount you would like to bid. No dollar signs ($) needed. Example: "102 300" then press send. You placed a $300 bid on item number 102. 

How will I know if I'm outbid?

If you are outbid, you will receive a notification email and a text message if you opted in to receiving text notifications. You will know as soon as you are outbid & can immediately go back to your item & bid on it again. 

When does bidding end?

Saturday, March 5th at 10 p.m. No bids will be accepted after this time.  

How will I pay for my items?

When the auction closes, you can check out by selecting the Pay option at the top of the screen. Our system is secure & will process your payment. 

How will I get my items when I win?

You will take home any items won that evening, or you can arrange for your items to be picked up or mailed if you are not in attendance at the gala.  Please email [email protected] for arrangements.
